The 2012 BMW M5 F10 is The New Benchmark

The 2012 BMW M5 F10 is The New Benchmark
As clearly noted in our video review of both the 2003 BMW M5 and the 2010 BMW M5, I have a thing for M5s. I've driven the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG, its closest competitor and I would take the BMW M5 over it any day of the week, especially the weekend. In fact, if I had $150,000 to play with and had my choice of any car, I would take BMW M5 over anything under that price ceiling - although the Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG is very tempting.
My point is that I believe the BMW M5 is one of the best purpose built cars on the planet. What exactly is its purpose though? Its primary purpose is to be super fast and yet practical and it does both very well.
That brings me to the new 2012 BMW M5 F10 body style, which has got to be one of the best looking 5-series ever made, in my opinion. That said, this new BMW M5 has both looks that kill and performance that slays
To be more specific, this sedan has the most powerful engine ever fitted in a series-produced model from BMW M GmbH. The new 2012 BMW M5 F10 power plant is a newly developed, high-revving V8 with M TwinPower Turbo which (consisting of Twin Scroll Twin Turbo technology, a cross-bank exhaust manifold, High Precision Injection petrol direct injection and VALVETRONIC fully variable valve control).
If you didn't understand the above, just know this... that the engine produces 560 horsepower at 6,000 - 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 502 lb-ft hits you between 1,500 and 5,750 rpm. The increase in horsepower and torque over the 2010 BMW M5 E60 is 53 hp and 122 lb-ft of torque or approximately 10% and 32% increases, respectively. The biggest difference, however, is in the torque figure which not only increases 32%, but the peaks early on at 1,500 rpm relative to the 2010 BMW M5 E60's peak at 6,100 rpm.
The instant power delivery makes the 2012 BMW M5 F10 much more responsive than the 2010 BMW M5 E60 and helps propel it from 0 - 60 mph in only 4.4 seconds (2010 BMW M5 was 4.7 seconds) and reach 124 mph in only 13.0 seconds.
What does all of the above combined with solid cornering ability mean? Well... a Nrburgring lap time that makes the 2012 BMW M5 F10 worthy of the title of "Master Slayer" of its super sport sedan brethren. Although the time is not yet official, there are rumors circulating that the new F10 BMW M5 did a Nrburgring lap in 7:55. That is faster than the Porsche Panamera Turbo (7:56), the Cadillac CTS-V (7:59) and the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG (8:10). Additionally, the new 2012 BMW M5 F10 lap time is approximately 18 seconds faster than its predecessor the 2010 BMW M5 E60 (8:13). What's even more interesting is that the BMW M5 is just as fast as the Ferrari F430 F1 (7:55).
With all of the above said, we can conclude that the new 2012 BMW M5 F10 is a phenomenal piece of machinery. However, what is greater are the minds of the German mad scientists at BMW that keep pushing these cars beyond what initially seemed impossible.

Milpitas new car buyers will find great resale value in their Honda models
Hey, Honda drivers you got a good deal when you bought your car Not only does Honda deliver for quality and value, but its vehicles rank among luxury models when it comes to resale value. Milpitas new car customers now have one more reason to check out the new Hondas.
In the 2011 Best Resale Value Awards list, Kelley Blue Book ranked Honda models first in three categories. The Honda Fit came out on top in the Subcompact Car category and the Honda CR-V reigned supreme among Compact Utility Vehicles. The ever-popular and dependable Honda Accord ranked first in the Mid-sized car category.
This bodes well for the Honda brand, which has had some major competition from "newcomers" like Hyundai and Kia of late. Buyers of Freemont used cars will be thrilled to know that they can find these great deals at their dealer.
The Fit being the newbie in the Honda fleet, has achieved quite an honor in being judged a great value. The CR-V and Accord are not as much of a surprise, as both are known for their quality. But they also have staying power. Neither has been given a total new look recently they've just become icons in the auto industry and buyers gravitate toward them.
Honda may want to try taking over the other categories as well. The Compact Car value went to the MINI Cooper; Mid-sized Utility Vehicle to the Toyota FJ Cruiser; Full-sized utility Vehicle was the GMC Acadia; and Full-sized car went to the Ford Taurus.
Although several luxury cars were named, like the BMW X5, Lexus IS and Audi A5, they ranked in their own luxury categories. Other value vehicles included: the Subaru Impreza in the Sports car category; Volkswagen Golf TDI for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Utility Vehicle; Ford Mustang GT for High-Performance Car; Toyota Sienna in the Van category; Toyota Tacoma for Mid-sized pickup; Ford F-Series Super Duty in the Full-sized Pickup category; and the Subaru Outback for Wagon.
Milpitas new car buyers can always find a value when they shop their new Honda dealer. Honda has models for every lifestyle and budget. They should also note that Honda tied with Toyota for the most categories of best value vehicles.
When it comes to pre-owned deals, they are a good value as well and Freemont used cars buyers can attest to the variety and quality of the Hondas they have purchased. Honda not only has repeatedly earned awards for value and quality, but its reputation and loyal customers attest are testimony enough.
So Honda fans, if you're still trying to finish up that holiday shopping, don't rule out a visit to your Honda dealer. You might just find what you want for Christmas.

Luxury Cars For Sale - How To Make A Smart Car Buying Decision
When you see exotic automobiles like a Ferrari's and Lamborghini's driving down the highway, do you wonder how people can afford such extravagance? As teenagers we had these cars plastered across our bedroom walls. But now we're grown up and have them as screen savers on our computers at work.Porsche 911 Turbo
If you have never had the chance to be one of the "chosen few" and have a shiny red Ferrari Modena parked in your garage (or Porsche 911, Turbo, Ferrari 355, 360, F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, BMW M5, Aston Martin, etc.), I have a confession to make. Today's auto consultants can literally save you thousands of dollars (quite often well over "ten" thousands of dollars) on one of these high-end or exotics and point you in the right direction for financing. It's now possible to be "one of the few."
For the past 10 years we have helped hundreds of people to make their dream come true. Let me give you an example. How about getting a MINT 2000 Ferrari 456 , 7,500 miles, gray, black, and auto - all records, receipts and even the original $246,000K window sticker for only $70,000? We found just that for one of our clients. He bought it, racked up some miles, and sold it for a $15,000 profit. He made enough profit to be able to use as a down payment for his dream car - an Aston Martin Vantage. By buying a used Porsche 911 or a Ferrari 355 Spider you can save literally thousands of dollars, and double these savings if you hire us to find you a car
You can take advantage of our 10+ years of established relationships with auto dealers negotiation tactics with private sellers. Our clients get exclusive luxury sport cars below the book values and in most cases at below the auction prices that the US car dealers are buying from
We completely share your passion for exclusive cars because we're owners of these too. Do you want to buy a Porsche Carrera 911? We know why: a classic look which is always cool. Go for it, you only live once. By the way, all Porsche 911's year 1999 or later basically have the same power, performance and looks as the later ones. How would you like Porsche 911 Cabriolet for only $25,000? We'll find it. How about the Porsche Carrera GT SUPERCAR? We'll not only find the perfect color combination, we'll save you enough money to buy a Porsche Boxster as wellPorsche 911 Turbo
Some other models may grab your attention as well and we will be able to find them too All you need to make your dream come true is to contact us today. It is that simple.

How to give your BMW some TLC

How to give your BMW some TLC
Adhering to a Predictive Preventive Maintenance Program Will Extend the Life of Your BMW
Having your BMW serviced at regular intervals is much like buying BMW Cover Insurance. You might be fortunate enough not to suffer a mechanical breakdown or have a motoring accident, but the protection provided by BMW insurance or mechanical maintenance will assure the motorist of good vehicular service and provide protection in the event of a traffic mishap.
When it comes to maintaining your BMW, remember the words of the mechanical sage, "The cheapest part you will ever put in your BMW is a quart of oil." The motor oil in your Bimmer is its lifeblood. It is with good reason that the Bavarian technicians specify that the vehicle they entrusted to your care be serviced on a regular basis with appropriate fluids, greases and filtration devices. This is yet another way of ensuring that you get the best deal on your cover insurance.
Lubricant standards are established by a number of industry regulatory bodies, most notably the International Lubricant Standardization and Approval Committee, or ILSAC. The service classifications are established for the intended usage of the oil; in spark ignition, diesel, high-performance engines and a host of others.
The type of vehicle you drive and the manner in which you motor are influencing factors in which classification of motor oil is specified by BMW for use in their high-performing engines, transmissions and differentials. In fact, in many of their current models the Bavarians have limited the ability of their customers to change or add any lubricating fluids to the car. What this means is the base carrier fluid is a synthetic instead of being refined petroleum. The additive package is the component that does the real work in a machine, but the carrier fluid transports those chemicals to the parts being protected. The carrier fluid also assists in the dissipation of heat, neutralizes acids (a natural by product of internal combustion) and absorbs contaminants.
Changing your oil in accordance with the factory specifications will keep your BMW running better and the mechanicals will last longer. You should no more drive your Beamer a quart low on oil than you should without BMW car insurance.
The same is true of the other fluids in the transmission, differential, power steering and braking systems. All of these should be changed at regular intervals, the length of which is generally determined by how the vehicle is being used. City driving will deplete the lubricant additives much faster than will highway travel.
Filtration is another aspect of maintenance. The motor oil system has a filter as does the fuel system, both of which are designed to filter out contaminants and wear particulate. Take care of your BMW (and keep it properly insured) and you will have many thousands of miles of happy driving.

Englewood BMW X3 drivers offered extra security testing by BMW

Englewood BMW X3 drivers offered extra security testing by BMW
Even the best run into trouble. We saw an example of this recently in the auto industry when Toyota had to recall some Prius, Corolla and Camry models. It was a messy recall and a problematic legal issue, but Toyota eventually bounced back and found itself in prime shape. Now, New Jersey BMW 3 Series dealers are finding themselves in a bit of a sticky situation. While BMW truly is the best of the best, that doesn't mean that mistakes aren't made.
In fact, mistakes were made in the production of some 2007-10 models but BMW had the foresight to enact a voluntary recall that should take care of the problem. A nice little bit of insight on this recall: the error isn't a fatal one, and most auto experts won't expect it to cause any serious safety issues. Still, it's important to make sure your car is always in perfect working order or you could risk doing serious damage to it. That's why the recall is a great thing to take advantage of, and Englewood BMW X3 dealers highly suggest you take part if you fit the bill.
The news was disseminated recently via a press release through BMW. New Jersey BMW 3 Series dealers are hoping to make as many BMW owners aware of the news as possible so their customers can get the treatment they deserve. According to the press announcement, "BMW of North America has notified the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of its intent to conduct a voluntary recall of some model year 2007-2010 BMWs equipped with twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engines, all of which feature BMW's High Precision Injection direct fuel injection system. It has also asked for approval from the California Air Resources Board to conduct this action. Affected vehicles may experience a failure of the high-pressure fuel pump." Englewood BMW X3 dealers are anticipated an overall positive response from the recall one that is sure to keep loyalists happy with their products. Regardless, the actual action is in the hands of the customers, so let's hope as many as possible respond.
There are many symptoms involved with the engine problems. For one, long-crank engine starting times and the ever annoying "Service Engine Soon" light. If you've owned a car in the last ten years, chances are you've run into this warning before. New Jersey BMW 3 Series owners aren't likely to have seen it very often, as BMW vehicles are usually up to snuff. But that doesn't mean it couldn't happen if you happen to have an affected auto. Reduced engine performance as a result of the automatic kick to "Safe Mode" may also occur, which won't hurt your drive much. At most, it will mask some of the power that BMW owners have come to know and love about their cars. Englewood BMW X3 drivers shouldn't have many problems with their vehicles that is, unless they come equipped with the High Precision Injection direct fuel injection system. It's good to see that BMW is being proactive about the problems.

BMW Salvage Cars at Low Prices at Auto Salvage Auction
Community in today's world depends on means of transportation. It's a fact of life that the majority of individuals cannot exist without transportation and use it to get to work, university or simply running errands. One cannot deny the fact that most persons now are on a tight budget due to economic crisis that recently took place. These men and women are not able to buy a new or even a used car in a good condition.
The first possible decision for them is to use a salvage auction yard. These yards usually offer their clients to place bids on damaged vehicles, saving thousands of dollars. Some can even hit upon a new or a repossessed car in good condition. A salvaged auction vehicle is a car that has either suffered an accident, or has some engine difficulty, and was not repaired but sold for cash. Vehicles that are bought at a salvage auction yard will most likely need some kind of repairs, either engine repairs or body repairs. That is why the buyer should be ready to spend his time and check the car he is going to buy beforehand.
He also must think over whether he will be able to fix it up or not. The cause the vehicles are at a salvage auction is because the cost of repair as a rule supersedes the vehicle's cost, and the insurance company or the owner, decided to total the vehicle. One more reason for taking up a car at a salvage yard is the reconstruction of a vehicle as a pastime. You may come across many restorable project cars at auto salvage auctions. Different auto parts for vehicles can also be searched for here. So if you look for a bargain car to take up and repair and use as an inexpensive form of transportation or a restorable vehicle for a hobby, these auto salvage auctions will suit perfectly. A salvage auction yard maybe the place for you if you are ready to take up your best BMW.
Every vehicle which is running on the roads finally gets to a salvage yard. It happens that it can suffer numerous damages in an accident. It can sustain important engine or transmission troubles. These vehicles are too expensive to repair, using an auto repair shop. Some less luxurious cars are sold for parts while other higher resale cars are kept intact and sold as a salvage car. BMW is a very trendy and pricey car. Because of this fact, it's very ordinary to see BMW salvage cars in auto salvage yards, ready to be sold or sent to auto salvage auction.
BMW owners are typically very devoted to their cars and often choose the same style, make and model of the car. Surely the cost of a new BMW is rather expensive. Still purchasing a repossessed BMW will set you back quite a bit of cash. If your income is not too high, but you still dreaming of a BMW, a BMW salvage car might represent your best and fairly possible the only choice in attaining that aim. Due to the increasing interest and demand for BMWs`, there are many available BMW salvage cars at auto salvage auctions.
Some individuals may be looking for a BMW for their daily car, while others are looking for a salvage to create their project car. The idea is that BMW salvage cars can suit with in both cases. If a person is a fancier of restoration works thenBMW salvage cars will go well for that. Several BMW salvage cars might have some smallest damages, but some tiny engine works or body repairs should be made. The only thing left to keep in mind is a person buying a BMW salvage car should have the capacity to repair the car; it would be a mistake otherwise, because the cars are placed at auto salvage auctions due to the cost of repairs.

Mountain View luxury cars: BMW teases electric prototype
The auto industry is changing, and engine technology is leading the way. This year marks an historic one for the auto industry; with the launch of several electric vehicles, it seems like it will be hard for Mountain View luxury cars to keep up. Fortunately for us, there is a light at the end of the tunnel that could develop into a game-changing innovation, one that will help the shifting dynamic in engine technology burst forward into the progressive driving future. The first cars in the industry to employ electric engines, specifically the Chevy Volt and the Nissan Leaf, will roll out to test the waters on how consumers will react to the new engines. Hopefully for us, this will be a key factor in the development of electric technology at your Stevens Creek BMW dealer.
It certainly will be. In fact, BMW has revealed that the development of such technology is already underway and should be ready to launch by 2013. That's only three years into the future, and Mountain View luxury cars will never be the same. The development of this new car stems back to 2007, when BMW launched Project i, an initiative that was created to develop cars for more urban areas. We didn't know when this was launched whether it was just a front to appear green' or it was a sincere effort to pull through on better engine tech but now we know that it was indeed sincere. The fact is that the German automaker, one of the most popular and well loved on the face of the planet, especially among luxury car enthusiasts, has already developed the technology it plans to launch in 2010. Your Stevens Creek BMW dealer is extremely excited for that day.
According to BMW spokespersons, the general beliefs among the engineers is that electric power is going to be a sustainable form of power that will cut back heavily on engine emissions. Pretty soon, it looks like all Mountain View luxury cars will come equipped with this sort of technology, with BMW leading the way in the revolution. The nice thing about this is that BMW obviously has faith in the technology, even though they will create a sub-brand. The sub-brand will reflect the BMW brand in an effort to unite the technology under the popular luxury driving company's umbrella. But is this innovation or necessity? Maybe a little bit of both. The engineers over at BMW believe that developing electric cars is necessary to the survival of the company. There are still skeptics out there, who aren't sure how expensive it will be to start launching charging stations across the country. But your Stevens Creek BMW dealer is pretty excited for the launch of battery power.
Well, here we are again: another huge development in automotive engineering that is poised to continue the progression of the industry. It's time again to tip our hats to BMW, a brand that we've oft tipped our hats to in the past.
