History of Honda Cars
Honda originally specialized in the manufacture of motorcycles before diversifying to motor vehicle manufacture. Currently they feature among the top ten manufactures of vehicles around the world. The Honda Accord and the Honda Civic are amongst their most sold vehicles of the 21st century. They are headquartered is based in Tokyo (Minato), Japan. The vehicles are not only assembled in Japan, they have vehicle plants spread all around the world. Some countries where you find their plants include Turkey, Brazil and England, just to name a few. Founded by Soichiro Honda the youngest of all the motor vehicles founders, sold its first car a S500 and T360 in 1963.
Hondas full range of cars has diversified including amongst the most recent one racing cars. Through the efforts made by Soichiro, Honda remained one of the cars that managed to build both their engine and chassis at the same time. This startled the car makers considerably. Some of the top Formula One vehicles happen to be Hondas. They suffered set backs during their earlier years as manufacturers of racing cars when Schlesser died during one of the races. This did not damp their spirits they later came back and proved the world wrong by making a name for themselves.

Company behind the auto cars is the Honda Motor Company, Ltd the multinational corporation that is based in Minami Aoyama Nichome, Tokyo, Japan. Honda develops, designs, manufactures as well as sells famous cars like Accord, Civic, CRV and others. Honda cars are acutally driven in different parts of world.
Not Everything is Actually Done in Japan
Lots of people assume incorrectly that the Japanese cars are made in Japan. Truth is, world is the different place now than it was earlier in late '40's when the Honda company first started. The globalization has now made it likely for the multinational corporations to actually distribute the production facilities all over the world for the maximum efficiency. For instance, even though companies' world headquarters are at Japan, the American Honda Motor is based at Torrance, California. And Honda has also made the joint ventures all over the world in order to facilitate the operations in the places like India and China.
In the terms of where cars are made actually, answer is that depends. Honda has many assembly plants that are distributed all over the world, all producing anywhere from just 1 to 5 different styles of the automobiles. That depends on where in world you stay, and what kind of car that you are thinking about, actual geographical origin may vary. You can go to the list of manufacturing & assembly plants with complete details about what kind of cars are actually made there. And it is very safe to assume in case, you live near to China than US, assembly plant closest in China that makes any model is one where that vehicle came from.
