Sunnyvale used car customers should be impressed with Honda's 2012 GX
Okay, so maybe the natural gas-powered Civic hasn't quite caught on yet, but that's not stopping Honda from freshening the Civic GX for 2012. As the cleanest internal combustion vehicle ever, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, this model may yet catch on with all the upgraded features.
Customers of Sunnyvale used cars may be a bit leery of the $25,000 price tag, especially when you add in the $4,600 to install the refueling station at your residence, but Honda obviously believes in this car as do the customers who have purchased it for the past dozen years.
Next year's model may go up a bit in price, but the upgrades should be well worth it. The Japanese auto maker promises more "desirable options like a navigation system and upgraded stereo". Too bad Honda isn't giving any more details on specific interior or exterior upgrades, although navigation and audio are great places to start as they seem to be something buyers are demanding quality from.
Not only will buyers of Santa Clara used cars enjoy these new features, but also an amazing 30 miles per gallon - and that's with natural gas furl, which is about one-third the price of gasoline. (Why is it economical to run a car on natural gas, but costs a fortune to heat my house the same way?)
So, buyers of Sunnyvale used cars take heart. If you love your Honda Civic GX, but would like a bit more bling and bang for your buck, 2012 should be your year. The GX already has a sleek, sporty style and the flat rear floor provides lots of leg room while the two-tier instrument panel is well-organized and clean.
Active and passive safety features uphold Honda's reputation for safe driving and a full slate of airbags makes this the perfect family car. The audio system include AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA standard, but with only two speakers. Perhaps providing a bit more of a surround sound effect will be part of the upgrade for the 2012 model. Sunnyvale used cars customers may want to cast their votes on this one. (Some of the luxury cars are now approaching 20 speakers with their upscale sound systems.)
Other than the Blue Pearl paint color, which is quite striking, the color choices for the Honda Civic GX are unimaginative, although they are nice classics - black, white , gray. Perhaps the new model will come with a new palette of colors to choose from. Something in the red or green family would be fun.
Regardless of the color choices, though, buyers of Santa Clara used cars will appreciate the fuel economy of the Honda Civic GX and the new tech features will only be a bonus.
